The excavating chains of our ballast cleaning machines are subjected to the highest stresses. High-quality work materials encounter impact and tensile loads as well as general wear. The stresses on an excavating chain vary depending on the condition of the track bed and the working speed. High-quality materials and proven design ensure even wear of the chain and thus enable scheduled maintenance, even with varying stresses.
During an overhaul, bushes are inserted in the intermediate links, and the highly stressed areas of the plates are armoured.
Bolts and the required small parts for assembly are also included. The result: a significantly extended service life of the excavating chain - and thus considerable cost savings and reduction of CO₂ emissions.
