INNOVATION Week 2021

From 27 to 30 April 2021 we presented our service portfolio with the latest developments during a virtual event in 2021.

At Plasser & Theurer, cost-efficiency is still the main goal of mechanised track construction. However, sustainability, digitalisation, and life-long support for machines and customers have been shaping daily work routines more and more. Innovative technologies and a global service strategy remain essential to the company's approach. We showed how to take a proactive approach to this change using the strategy MACHINE – FLEET – INFRASTRUCTURE.

The virtual event

All specialist fields need an ongoing exchange of ideas and lively conversations. Track construction technology is no exception. Even if we cannot replace personal, physical contact and unexpected casual encounters, our digital exhibition stand offered many advantages for our visitors. The INNOVATION Week 2021 made use of many digital components. Railway experts from all over the world attended presentations and took a virtual tour of machines with their smartphones, tablets, and computers.

Our exhibition in the digital showroom: the main focus is our range of services offered for MACHINE - FLEET - INFRASTRUCTURE. The ModularCustomizing product line lets you configure your machine to make it fit your needs (MACHINE). Our customer services portfolio provides support for individual machines or complete fleets for their entire life cycle (FLEET). Digital tools for full track assessment and complementary services complete our portfolio (INFRASTRUCTURE). The P&T Research and Shift2Rail exhibition areas offer insight into our research projects. Our partner companies have also participated. Simply use your internet browser to participate. We provide a safe, user-friendly environment to navigate the digital exhibition.
