    In 2018, a market study was conducted as part of the European research programme, Shift2Rail. This study is the basis for an entirely new track maintenance machine by Plasser & Theurer.

  • SVB 800 ME - The production line for new tracks
    Track renewal machines are the all-in-one solution for getting an old track back into shape. The SVB 800 ME is a new type of track renewal machine. It was built for the French construction consortium ETF/Meccoli at our Linz factory and finished in summer 2019. In autumn, a three-week training camp for the new machine was held near Vienna.
