The rail network of high-speed trains in Japan is certainly one of the most modern in the world. Trains travelling at 300 km/h in 6 minute intervals - that calls for extremely accurate maintenance of way. Plasser & Theurer has supplied machines to Japanese railway companies for many years.
India operates a vast rail network and Indian Railways has relied on machines made by Plasser & Theurer for many years. For this reason, an affiliate company was founded in India by Plasser & Theurer with its own manufacturing facilities.
